Hand printed tote bag

Hand printed using traditional techniques, on thick quilted cotton, in a fair trade workplace in India. These bags are fully lined, and have an inside zip pocket. Approximately 31cm high and 36cm wide. The leather straps have buckles that make it easy to change the strap length to suit shoulder bag or hand carrying style.

These bags were printed in Balotra, near Jodhpur. Some designs have tribal and marital status meanings, and the bags were produced in collaboration with the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing. The green bag print, Boriya, depicts Boor fruits. It is traditionally worn by Kumhar (potter) and Chaudhury (landowner) women.

Price: $65.00 GST inc.
