Safe Baby Wearing
- Use a carrier designed for your baby's age and weight.
- Try new carrying positions over the bed or couch.
- Don't wear your baby while using sharp or hot implements.
- Bend at the knees, not waist. Support baby with one hand.
- Be aware of what your baby can reach while being carried.
- A sling or carrier is not a replacement for a car seat. Don't wear your baby while driving or riding a bike.
- Be sunsafe when wearing your baby outside.
- Protect your back by using a carrier that feels comfortable.
