"Come on baby, hold me tight!"
WildSlings ring slings [0] are perfect for carrying newborns in a laying-down position. You can also carry babies and toddlers on your front (facing in or out), hip, or back. Because they're not sized, a ring sling can be worn by mum or dad. They fold up to fit in a nappy bag or the bottom of the pram, and can be used for privacy when breastfeeding in public.
Made in Canberra by a work-at-home mum, these ring slings are made from either hemp/organic cotton, or hemp/silk, and use aluminium sling rings. Lighter than steel rings, but stress tested to do the job safely, you'll find these are more comfortable when carrying baby for long periods.
WildSlings ring slings have a pleated shoulder to sit neatly when worn - not bunched up over your shoulder. The rails (edges) are unpadded, making them easier to adjust.
Each of these slings is a one-off for Brindabella Baby - once it's gone, it's gone! Coloured slings have been hand-dyed with professional dyes, and won't fade with machine washing. The patterned trim on the shoulder and tail of natural (undyed) slings is quality quilter's cotton. Hemp silk slings may also have hand beading on the shoulder and tail.
Designed for long-lasting comfort and everyday use, WildSlings can be machine washed - even the hemp silk slings. Just pop a sock over the rings to stop them clanking against the machine tub, or put them in a pillow case.
Doll slings also available, so big bro or sis can carry dolly just like mummy carries the baby.
