If you've been using cloth nappies on your baby, it makes a lot of sense for mum to use cloth pads too. Celebrate being a woman, instead of dreading that time of month!
They're safer, economical, better for the environment, more comfortable, and look nicer than disposables.

Brindabella Baby stocks All In One (AIO) and pocket style pads in the Accessories [0] category. An AIO pad has a polyurethane laminate (PUL) backing that is waterproof, and has absorbent layers sewn into the middle of the pad. Pocket pads, like pocket nappies, have an opening so you can add or remove the absorbent layers. Pocket pads dry faster as the layers can be separated, and ours are more breathable as they don't have a PUL backing. All our pads have wings that wrap around your underwear and fasten with a polyacetal snap.
Washing is easier than you might think - especially if you're already washing nappies. Most women find it easiest to keep a plastic container of water (like an old ice cream container - with a lid, and you can't see through it!) in the bathroom to soak their pads. Then put through the wash the same way you'd wash modern cloth nappies. No fabric softener as it can give fabrics a water resistant coating, and no need to use bleaches or harsh chemicals.
Most women like to have enough cloth pads to last their whole cycle. But if you're happy to wash them more frequently, you could get away with as few as six to twelve pads.
