Interview with an Artist

I've finally had the time to add another interview to the Meet the Maker series. Meet Kristi from BareNest [0], a West Australian artist with a passion for refashioning, upcycling, and reducing her family's environmental footprint.

With every baby carrier or sling purchased in June, we're giving away a handmade BareNest bottle bag - great for dressing up your recycled water bottle, and with a handy loop to hang from your carrier or sling. Because they're made from cotton towelling, they'll be great for frozen water bottles in summer.

If you've been wondering whether babywearing is for you, come along to the Bush Babies free information seminar on Wednesday 4 June at 8:30pm. Details on the Bush Babies website [1]. Babywearing expert Jennifer Norton will explain the benefits of carrying your baby or toddler in a sling, and there will be a range of different styles to try on.

Still plenty of Finnstarz advocacy tees for mums, and bodysuits and tees for babies [1] (up to two years old). Stock is limited, so get yours before they sell out! I've been wearing mine with BabyLegs as arm warmers [1] - a great way to extend my summer wardrobe into cooler weather.
