Surviving winter without cabin fever
Being in Canberra for winter can be hard. The only benefits of cold weather - skiiing and snowboarding - aren't do-able when you've got a baby on your back. But I'm not going to be stuck indoors all winter getting cabin fever.
There's lots to see and do this month in Canberra: Canberra International Music Festival, the RSPCA Million Paws Walk on May 18, weekend farmers markets, and Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. All more fun if you can carry your baby or toddler on your back instead of pushing a pram, plus it's easier to stay warm when you stay close :)
Until the end of May, Ergo baby carriers are 10% off - only $143 for the regular cotton! We also have organic cotton carriers in stock, retro limited edition for $143, and a range of organic and regular cotton babywearing accessories.
You can try on carriers at the Bush Babies information seminar on Saturday 31 May from 10:30am at the Functions Room in Corroboree Park, Ainslie. This one is titled Happy Little Feet - raising baby with reduced environmental impact and easier on the household budget.
