Dry Pailing Method

• Tip solid waste into toilet (easy off polar fleece liners, or use a Little Squirt).
• Throw nappy in bucket. The bucket doesn't need water or soaking solution in it. Washing will be easier if you pull the stuffing out of pocket nappies, and close Velcro tabs.
• On wash day, tip the bucket into the machine and add nappy sanitiser (if you use it). Pre-wash rinse cycle, cold.
• When rinse is done, add your normal wash powder or soap flakes. Put on hot wash cycle.
• Don't use fabric softener. It will give the nappies a water resistant coating.
• Line drying will fade stains.

DIY Washing Powder

2 parts soap flakes, 1 part borax, 1 part washing soda.

Just mix together. Use 2 tbsp per wash.
