Is your child really ready?

Thought I'd take the opportunity on World Toilet Day to kick off a couple of articles on toilet training for toddler. You'll find the first one, Toilet Readiness and Toilet Awareness, in the Health section. Toilet training is just like anything else a toddler needs to learn - the more matter-of-fact and calm you can be, the easier it will be. And, like other learned skills, there's not a lot of point in rushing into it before they're ready. If you're ready to ditch the nappies but you're wondering if your child feels the same way, check out the article. Even if they're not quite ready, you may be able to help them along with a little toilet awareness.
