Corinbank 2010 for eco-friendly families who love music and film!

It's February! Which means not long til Corinbank, 26-28 February 2010 at Corin Forest Recreation Park, ACT.

Set just 40 minutes from Canberra, Corinbank is a music, arts and immersion festival showcasing amazing performers from the region and beyond. You Am I, Ash Grunwald, Clare Bowditch, Urthboy and 40 other bands will play in 2010, alongside an impressive performing and visual artist line up. Creative camps and workshops offer festival goers the chance to absorb themselves in anything from yoga to bushwalking, mountain biking, dance and the preparation of slow food. Plus feature films and a short film festival. Pam, who works Fridays and Saturdays at the shop, will love this when she comes out on Sunday.
 
Environmental sustainability is the serious side of Corinbank, which was the first Australian festival to be powered 100% by biodiesel and has received numerous awards for its green efforts. Corinbank not only practices sustainability through measures such as grey water processing, but gives people of all ages the chance to learn more about the environment through the workshops and hands on activities showcased in the Green Kulture village. This year, Brindabella Baby will be there to teach people how to carry their baby or toddler with a bedsheet, and answer questions about cloth nappies and other eco-friendly choices for families.
