Surviving winter without cabin fever
Being in Canberra for winter can be hard. The only benefits of cold weather - skiiing and snowboarding - aren't do-able when you've got a baby on your back. But I'm not going to be stuck indoors all winter getting cabin fever.
Stocktake sale ends 15 May - get in now!
The stocktake sale at Brindabella Baby will end on 15 May. But until the end of May, Ergo baby carriers are 10% off - only $143 for the regular cotton! We also have organic cotton carriers in stock, retro limited edition for $143, and a range of organic and regular cotton accessories.
Anyone like turtles?
I love unpacking new stock. Just listed in the Nappies area, new colours for Bumwear one-size pocket nappies - a turtles print in blue, green, or brown, as well as stripes and a new pink butterfly print. I've also got Bumwear petite size nappies for newborns, the perfect nappy for going home from hospital. And Bumwear covers - great over your Mandy Mac nappies and only $17 each during stocktake sale.
New gift sets and Organic BabyLegs
The stocktake sale continues, and I've added great new products to the range.
In the Clothing area, we still have conventional cotton BabyLegs for $14.50. But there's now an organic option from $22, with cotton, wool, and camel and some great colour choices. And in the Specials and Package Deals, you'll find gorgeous gift sets - Flame hat with matching BabyLegs, or Ladybird soft sole eco-leather shoes with matching BabyLegs for $34.
Be vewwy qwiet, we're hunting bargains
The time has come for another stocktake sale. If you're quick, you can pick up some great bargains while stocks last. Plus we still have one-price shipping anywhere in Australia for just $7.50. Absolutely everything in the store is reduced!
If you're looking for a baby carrier, try the Ergo for $149 (reduced from $159).
Electric Garden vs Fluoro Flowers
One of the fun things I get to do sometimes is think up names for fabric colours. Every now and then, a box of products arrive from a manufacturer and there's no "name" on the tags for the colours. So tonight I was debating Electric Garden vs Fluoro Flowers for one of the new Mei Favorite carriers.

Guilt-free Easter treats
Did you know that many of the most popular chocolate brands rely on cheap cocoa beans harvested by children? Don't just take my word for it. Visit World Vision's "Don't Trade Lives" website to find out more about this issue. Make a choice: fair trade, not free trade.
Meet Amanda
March is shaping up to be a busy month. Not least because I'm searching the other sponsor's sites for the elusive Great Down Under Nappy Hunt icon :)
Why I Love My Job
We all love getting fluffy mail, and the constant arrival of new stock is one of the fun parts of this job. But you can imagine the smile on my face when the latest box to arrive is full of Australian Certified Organic chocolate from Cocoa Farm!
The cocoa beans are organically grown in Australia, and are picked and processed by workers paid a fair wage and with safe working conditions. No chocolate slavery here :) Click here for more information from Anti-Slavery International.
