Storchenwiege baby slings and carriers were designed by Günter Schwartzer, a textiles engineer with more than 40 years experience in the industry. The products are manufactured in Germany, under Oeko-Tex Standard 100 conditions (http://www.oeko-tex.com). Manufacturing is based in Upper Lusatia, in south-eastern Germany, where linen weaving has been a traditional industry for centuries.
