Traditional Shipobo Drum
This traditional shipobo drum has been handpainted, and comes with a wooden drumstick. About half the size of the blue-painted shipobo drum. Made by CIAP, a fair trade program in Peru. CIAP provides employment, training, and community support to traditional artisans in regional Peru and marginalised districts of Lima. This is a real musical instrument, made in a size that is easy for small hands to play.
Ocarina whistle
Pottery ocarina whistles handmade in a fair trade program in Peru. These beautiful, colourful animals are fun to look at as well as to play with, and an easy introduction to children making their own music. Availability of animal shapes varies according to what is available from the artisans, and includes crocodile, parrot, owl, toucan, bluebird, whale, and llama.
